The important part. Nothing on this website is engineering, architectural, or legal advice, and reading it does not make CCAD your consultant. Our services are governed by a signed contract. If this website and that contract ever disagree, the contract wins.

1. Agreement

These terms govern your use of www.ccad.io and its content. By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

2. No professional advice and no professional relationship

Content on this site is general information about CCAD services. It is not professional advice and must not be relied on as the basis for any design, construction, procurement, safety, scheduling, or commercial decision.
CCAD does not provide engineering or architectural design services and does not hold itself out as a licensed design professional. CCAD does not issue stamped or sealed documents, does not act as Engineer of Record or Architect of Record, and does not assume design responsibility.
CCAD coordination models are prepared for spatial coordination and clash detection. They are not fabrication documents, not construction documents, and not a substitute for the contract documents issued by the design team of record.
Using this site, emailing us, or receiving a proposal does not create a consultant, client, agency, partnership, joint venture, or fiduciary relationship. A relationship arises only under a written agreement signed by an authorized CCAD officer.

3. Proposals and pricing

Any figures, durations, or capabilities described here are illustrative. They are not an offer, and they do not bind CCAD. Pricing is given only in a written proposal, is valid only for the period that proposal states, and is subject to the scope, exclusions, and clarifications set out in it.

4. Accuracy

We try to keep this site accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it is. Content may be changed or withdrawn at any time without notice.

5. Intellectual property

The content, design, text, graphics, logos, and layout of this site are owned by CCAD or used under license, and are protected by copyright and trademark law.
CCAD, the CCAD mark, and Built Right. Before It is Built. are trademarks of CCAD, LLC.
You may view and print pages for your own internal, non-commercial reference. You may not copy, republish, scrape, mirror, frame, or use this site content commercially without our written permission.
Ownership of models, drawings, and deliverables produced for a client is determined by the contract for that project, not by this website.

6. Third-party names and software

This site refers to third-party software and hardware, including Autodesk, Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Revizto, Procore, Bluebeam, Matterport, Leica, and others. All such names, logos, and marks are the property of their respective owners.

They are used solely to describe the tools CCAD works with. Their use does not imply any partnership, sponsorship, certification, reseller status, affiliation with, or endorsement by those companies, and none should be inferred.

7. Links to other sites

Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience. We do not control them, do not endorse them, and are not responsible for their content, security, or practices.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the site unlawfully or to infringe the rights of others.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site or any system connected to it.
Introduce malware, or interfere with the operation or availability of the site.
Harvest contact details from the site for unsolicited marketing or recruitment.
Use automated means to scrape or reproduce the site at scale.

9. Unsolicited submissions

Please do not send us confidential or proprietary ideas through this website. Anything you send us that is not covered by a signed confidentiality agreement is treated as non-confidential, and we are free to use it without obligation or compensation to you.

10. Careers submissions

Applications are welcome. Recruiters and staffing agencies should read the relevant section of our Privacy Policy: unsolicited resumes are sent at your own risk, carry no fee obligation, and create no agency relationship.

11. No warranty

This site and its content are provided as is and as available, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CCAD and its members, officers, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profit, revenue, data, business, or opportunity, arising out of your use of, or inability to use, this site, even if we have been advised such damages are possible.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of this site is limited to one hundred United States dollars (US$100).

Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Liability arising out of services CCAD performs under contract is governed by that contract, not by this section.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify CCAD against any claim, loss, or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your misuse of this site or your breach of these terms.

14. Privacy

Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

15. Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The exclusive venue for any dispute arising out of this website is the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona, and you consent to that jurisdiction.

16. Precedence

If anything on this website conflicts with a written agreement between you and CCAD, that agreement governs.

17. Changes

We may revise these terms at any time. The effective date above reflects the current version. Continued use of the site after that date means you accept the revision.

18. Severability

If any provision is held unenforceable, the remainder stays in force.
